It's hard to type when it's cold

Sameer is way too busy to write anything funny so I thought I'd show you a picture of him looking funny while he writes. (a Schleiermacher paper, that is)

If you're so cold how come you're in a t-shirt?

I'll tell you why, smart-aleck --

It's because I have a problem with getting blood to my extremities. I don't know why it is, but when it's really cold and we turn the heat on, my hands and feet NEVER get warm.

Is the head an extremity? If so, maybe I'd be a lot smarter if I had better circulation...

Thanks Tracie! I WISH I were almost done with the papers! I have about four left to do for the semester, and two of them that I haven't started have to be finished in around two weeks: one on Kant and one on Barth and von Balthasar. I know I'll really enjoy working on them but the time pressure b/c of doctoral apps is what is kicking my butt!

We look forward to seeing you this X-mas!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

If you put a hat on the heat will stay "in" since you lose heat out of your head. Heh, just a thought.

Lori,

Why didn't *I* think of that!

Right now my method is just to pre-heat the oven to 150 and put my head in every 15 minutes. Your idea is WAY better!
