In the late afternoon we put him back outside with a blanket for a couple of hours. When we saw lights on at the neighbors' house we went over and talked to them. She said someone was coming to get him tomorrow and she had forgotten he was still in the backyard. We asked if we could keep him for the night and she heartily said yes.

puppy update
In the late afternoon we put him back outside with a blanket for a couple of hours. When we saw lights on at the neighbors' house we went over and talked to them. She said someone was coming to get him tomorrow and she had forgotten he was still in the backyard. We asked if we could keep him for the night and she heartily said yes.

how did the sleepover go. puppies are sooo cute. a friend of ours just got a new little brittany puppy (same kind as roy). his name is whiskey. registered name, whiskey on the rocks. and he is so adorable it almost made us want another puppy. but not quite. puppies are also a lot of work. roy and whiskey got along really well though--whiskey thought he was bigger than he really is and attempted to take roy down. he was doing a pretty good job of it too.
